Working with my Co-Founder, we designed the entire website using Webflow, and I wrote a tutor-client matching algorithm using Python.

Evolutionary Tutors is a start-up that connects Years K-12 students across Sydney and Melbourne with expert private tutors in their local area. Our marketplace platform matches students with tutors within 24 hours, with one-to-one lessons occurring at either the student's home or a library close by.

In co-founding the business, I was in charge of everything from Day 1, including: front-end web development, finance, accounting/record keeping, administration, legal compliance, digital marketing, project management, hiring and training new tutors, customer support, and setting up robust and efficient software systems to streamline the business as we scaled over time. 'Systems-thinking' and service ideation/design was my specialty.

Since launching in August 2017, highlights include:

- 500+ clients.
- 100+ tutors.
- 6200+ lesson hours logged in our online management system.
- Writing our proprietary tutor guide on 'The Science of How Students Learn', to effectively train new tutors.

Evolutionary Tutors was acquired in October 2019.
